How quickly can I get funded?

Decisions can come in as little as 24 hours, and many businesses are funded the same day they're approved; most receive funds within 24 to 48 hours. Having your last 3 months of business bank statements ready is the biggest thing that speeds it up.

What are the requirements for a merchant cash advance?

Generally at least 6 months in business, about $10,000 a month in revenue, and an active business bank account. Businesses that don't meet every requirement can still apply, and a specialist will tell you what's realistic.

How long do you have to be in business to get funding?

Many of our funding partners work with businesses that have been open as little as 6 months, as long as deposits are steady. Banks and SBA lenders usually want 2 years or more.

Can I get business funding with bad credit?

Often, yes. A merchant cash advance looks mainly at your revenue and bank deposits, so all credit types are considered. Your credit can still affect the amount and terms you're offered.

Will applying affect my credit score?

No. Pre-approval uses a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score.

Is a merchant cash advance a loan?

No. A merchant cash advance is the purchase of a portion of a business's future receivables at a discount. Instead of interest, the cost is set as a factor rate, and remittances are usually tied to your sales. Approval and terms vary based on business qualifications.

How does a merchant cash advance work?

A funder gives you a lump sum up front. In return, it buys an agreed amount of your future revenue and collects it as a small daily or weekly remittance until that amount is delivered. Because remittances are tied to revenue, they can adjust when sales slow.

Merchant cash advance or business loan: which is better?

It depends on what you need. A bank or SBA loan usually costs less but takes weeks and needs strong credit and history. A merchant cash advance is faster and easier to qualify for but costs more, so it fits short-term needs with a clear payback, like inventory, payroll or a repair.

Can a new LLC or startup get funding?

If the business has been open at least 6 months with steady deposits in its own business bank account, there are usually options. Brand-new businesses with no revenue history generally won't qualify for revenue-based funding yet.

What can I use the funds for?

Any business purpose, including inventory, equipment, payroll, marketing, repairs and expansion.

How much can I get?

Funding ranges from $10,000 to $5,000,000 depending on the product and the business. The most common range is $50,000 to $500,000.

What documents do I need to apply?

A short application with basic business and owner information, plus your last 3 months of business bank statements. Larger requests may need tax returns or financial statements.
